Polish archers Justyna Mospinek and Malgorzata Cwienczek finished two-three in today's women's individual finals. At a press conference held after the finals, Mospinek said although she failed to win the gold she was happy to take the silver medal after giving a good performance in the final. "My coach and my friends are confident that I will be able to win gold or silver in next year's Olympic Games," she added, "so all I need to do is to try my very best to gain better results."

Mospinek's teammate Malgorzata Cwienczek said she was also happy with her bronze medal performance. She hoped she would also do well at the Beijing Games.

Commenting on FITA's recent adjustment in the competition format, the two Polish archers said it was OK for them right now. However, they were not sure whether omitting the intervals between the matches would affect their performances in the future. "It may be OK today, it might not be OK next time."
