Justyna Mospinek advances to the quarterfinals

The "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 International Archery Tournament entered fifth-day competition at the Olympic Green Archery Field today. In the women's individual 1/8 eliminations Justyna Mospinek of Poland beat Virginie Arnold of France 111-106 to advance to the quarterfinals.

Ranking first in the ranking round and surpassing three KOR archers , Justyna Mospinek of Poland also defeated China's He Ying in the 1/16 round to enter the top 16.

In the 1/8 eliminations, Justyna Mospinek only had one point ahead after finishing the first group of arrows. But she had two 10's and X's in the second group of arrows and led with 5 points. This helped her to eventually win the match.

The world record for the women's individual is 118pts. In another 1/8 elimination match KOR's Park Sung Hyun won with 117, one point less than the existing world record of 118.
