In 1/8 elimination of the 2007 International Archery Tournament at at the Olympic Green Archery Field in the morning the Chinese team, consisting of archers Jiang Lin, Xue Haifeng and Yong Fujun , was beaten by Malaysian team, losing chance to enter the quarterfinals.

The archers of Malaysian team are Chu Sian Cheng, Muhammad Marvawi Sulaiman and Mohd Khalmizam Wan AB Aziz. In the ranking round, they ranked 6th with 1975, while the Chinese team ranked 11th with 1948.

The Chinese team didn' t play well today. Before shooting the last group of the arrows, the Chinese team was left behind with 157-166. Although the Chinese team shot two consecutive 10 points and four 9 points in the last group of the arrows, they still lost the game with 214-218 due to lagging behind too much in the previous competition.
