The women's team 1/8 eliminations and the women's team quarterfinals of the 2007 International Archery Tournament concluded at the Olympic Green Archery Field on the morning of August 21, with teams of ROK, Russia, the United States and Georgia beating their rivals to enter the semifinals respectively.
Sung Hyun Park, Eun Young Choi and Tuk Young Lee on the ROK team showed their strength to beat theiropponents from Ukraine and Kazakstan with 217-187 and 217-207 respectively.
Russia's Tatiana Boroday, Victoria Dubanova and Natalya Erdyniyeva, with 212-205 and 205-193, beat their Japan and Poland rivals to enter the semifinals.
Lexie Feeney, Jane Waller and Jordanna Wellings of the United States beat Austrailia and British competitors with 212-196 and 204-192 respectively.
Asmat Diasamidze, Kristine Esebua and Khatuna Narimanidze representing Geogia outscored Colombian and Italian archers with 209-186 and 199-198.
The women's team semifinals and finals will begin at 4 p.m. this afternoon. Following the finals will the medal ceremony for the women's team event.
