The 2007 International Archery Tournament opened at Beijing's Olympic Green Archery Field on August 20, as a rehearsal for the Olympic archery competition at the 2008 Olympic Games. As a future Olympic venue, the Olympic Green Archery Field has attracted archers from different parts of the world for pre-Games warming up.
Located in north Beijing, the Olympic Green Archery Field is 0.8 kilometer from the Olympic Village. During the 2007 International Archery Tournament the participants will enjoy the all-round services provided by the local organizers.
The venue consists of Field A , Field B and a third field for warming-up and ranking round. During the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Field A and Field B will accommodate 4,500 and 800 spectators respectively. The field for the ranking round will become a training field open to archers all day round after the ranking round.
Competition field passage
Teams and technical officials will walk through this designated passage from the training field into the competition field safely.
Locker rooms
The competition fields are equipped with two locker rooms each, each locker room having such facilities as toilet and bathing and changing areas.
Mixed zone
When competition is over, archers will leave by the mixed zone, where they may give brief interviews to the accredited media.
Rest rooms
Also, there are rest rooms for archers and team officials in the venue, where snacks and beverages are served and are open to the teams during all training and competition periods.
